Nearly 17,000 Vietnamese migrate overseas for employment in Q1
Vietnam sent nearly 17,000 workers abroad in the first quarter of 2010, reported the Department for Overseas Labour Management under the Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
Malaysia and Taiwan received the biggest numbers of Vietnamese workers in this period. Both markets don’t require workers of high qualification. In fact, Taiwan still needs many low-level workers in production and manufacturing industries.

South Korea will recruit an additional 12,500 Vietnamese workers.
The United Arab Emirates and Qatar have higher demand for Vietnamese manpower. Dubai currently needs 4000 foreign workers for security guards while Libya needs thousands for construction. These markets hast vast potential for industrious people like those in Vietnam.
