HCM City FDI Attraction Leads Nation

According to the Foreign Investment Department, Vietnam attracted US$15.03 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) in the first 11 months this year, exceeding the year’s set target of US$13 billion. Ho Chi Minh City now tops the country in attracting FDI, with US$1.984 billion, which is attributed to the city’s efforts in implementing administrative reform and also thanks to the country’s WTO entry.  read more »

Vietnam Calling for Foreign Investment for 39 Infrastructure Projects

The Ministry of Transport has announced a list of 39 infrastructure projects calling for foreign investment between now and 2010, local Investment Newspaper said.
 
They include 24 roads, including construction North-South and Dau Giay-Binh Thuan-Nha Trang expressways, two aviation projects of Chu Lai Airport in central Quang Nam province and Long Thanh International Airport in southern Dong Nai province.
